The Toro SMRT Logic offers cloud-based landscape control anytime, from anywhere. Through the SMRTscape™ app or website, users are able to remotely control and manage their irrigation system, outdoor lighting, or other key features of their landscape. SMRT Logic is backward compatible with all Toro irrigation controllers, eliminating the need to purchase and learn a new controller; and uses a secure and proprietary 900 MHz radio signal to communicate to the controller.

• Unlike most competing internet-enabled controllers that use the Wi-Fi network to communicate back to the router/modem, the SMRT Logic communicates to the controller through a proprietary 900 MHz radio signal. Communicating via radio signal, coupled with industry standard encryption, delivers a secure communication path and nearly three times the communication distance of a typical Wi-Fi router.
• Simply plug the SMRT Logic into a router and let it connect on its own to the internet. No Wi-Fi passwords or network permissions needed. When the LED indicator turns solid green, the gateway is connected.
• The SMRT Logic is backward-compatible with leading Toro® controllers, such as the EVOLUTION Series, TMC Series, and Custom Command; meaning a new controller is not needed to leverage the capability to manage the irrigation system remotely.
